Responsibilities :Formulate and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing purposes.Validate data integrity, API endpoints, and backend functionality through API testing and database testing procedures.Create and deploy automated test suites specifically for API testing, utilizing tools such as Postman or similar API testing frameworks.Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, replicate, and resolve software defects utilizing issue-tracking tools like JIRA.Engage actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the agile development process.Conduct exploratory testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases, and unforeseen behavior in software applications.Document and communicate test results, defects, and test coverage metrics to stakeholders, aiding in informed decision-making processes.Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and QA engineering best practices to ensure relevance and effectiveness in the role.Requirements :Demonstrate 3-5 years of experience in QA engineering, emphasizing integration testing expertise.Exhibit a comprehensive grasp of API documentation, integration design principles, and implementation strategies.Display proficiency in utilizing integration platforms such as Boomi, along with adeptness in programming languages and frameworks essential for integration development.Showcase a robust understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques tailored for integration testing scenarios.Showcase exceptional troubleshooting and debugging abilities to effectively address issues encountered during testing processes.Possess strong collaboration and communication skills, essential for effective teamwork and clear dissemination of information within the QA engineering domain.Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
