Position Overview :We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to drive business decisions and innovation. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing predictive models, conducting advanced analytics, and extracting valuable insights from complex datasets.Key Responsibilities :1. Data Analysis and Modeling : - Perform exploratory data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets. - Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve business problems and generate actionable insights. - Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, and classification to extract meaningful insights from data.2. Predictive Modeling and Forecasting : - Build predictive models to forecast future trends, customer behavior, and business outcomes. - Evaluate model performance, refine algorithms, and optimize parameters to improve accuracy and reliability of predictions. - Implement time-series analysis techniques to forecast demand, sales, and other key performance indicators.3. Data Visualization and Communication : - Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders. - Present analysis results and recommendations to business leaders, providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable strategies.4. Feature Engineering and Data Preprocessing : - Perform feature engineering to extract relevant features from raw data and enhance model performance. - Cleanse, preprocess, and transform data to ensure quality, consistency, and integrity for analysis and modeling purposes. - Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to access, integrate, and prepare data for analysis and modeling.5. Model Deployment and Monitoring : - Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. - Monitor model performance and evaluate model drift over time, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain accuracy and effectiveness. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate model deployment and monitoring processes, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems and workflows.Qualifications and Skills :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.- 5 to 8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data mining methodologies.- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments is preferred.
