Must have:The Roles and Responsibility of the Network & Security Support Engg covers the following guidelines for L2 level profiles:- Network and Security engineer will have to provide primary Level-2/2.5 support for Incidents, Change and request tickets by troubleshooting / analyzing across Client network.- Execute changes and periodic device upgrade, migration, integration activities along with senior engineers to start and work.- Understanding vertical domain SOPs and manage environment as per defined SOPs.- Coordinate with OEM for product related fixed, ensure high uptime and standardization of configuration in devices.- Periodic Failover testing, execute corrective action as needed for high infrastructure uptime to support business.- Support and implement, Create policies, Log and Data analysis, Configurations and Action of critical alert from SOC along with analysis and quick remediation.- Network diagram update as per the land scape changes with new device & technologies.- Attend regular internal and client meetings when at work.- Work in 24X7 environment in rotational shift to support operation.- Technology Domains/Verticals covered by the L2 Support Scope- Routing (Cisco)- Switching (Cisco / HP Aruba)- Security (Firewall) (Cisco / Palo Alto / Fortigate and Checkpoint)- Wireless (Cisco / Aruba)- Email Gateway Security (Symantec)- Web Proxy (Netskope)- NAC (ClearPass Aruba)- WAF (Radware)- Microsegmentation (Color Tokens)- Analytics and Management Tools (Algosec / Manage Engine / Solar Winds / FortiAnalyzer / Panorama, etc.)The Key Skillsets/Expectations from the resources are as follows:- Engineers should be a Graduate.- L2 Engineer should have minimum 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.- Engineers should have Good Communications skills.- Engineers should have good hands-on experience on Routing, Switching, Firewall (Cisco/FortiGate/Pali alto and IPS), Wireless LAN, Proxy Technologies, Load Balancing, Email Security, Cloud Security Technologies etc.- Engineers will generate relevant MIS reports / technical artifacts on the problems reported time to time based on the requirement.- Engineer will coordinate with team/ vendors for speedy call resolution.- Engineers will do Call categorization/ updating / tracking till resolution.- Engineers should have Positive service attitude with Strong Customer facing skills.NOTE: L2 Engineer should have minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant domain specific technical work experience.
