Job Description :As a Quality Assurance - Automation Engineer at ColorTokens, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our security solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, conducting system and performance testing, and implementing test automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with product management, development teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software releases that meet customer expectations.Responsibilities :Design and replicate customer topologies in-house for testing purposes.Conduct complex test methodologies and deliverables, including system and performance testing.Develop and execute test automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with product management and development teams to define release targets and test plans.Analyze customer issues and recreate them in-house for troubleshooting and resolution.Continuously improve product quality by identifying and addressing root causes of customer-found issues.Provide technical expertise in system architecture and recommend optimal testing strategies.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance and automation.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test planning and execution.Proven experience in system and performance testing in complex environments.Strong understanding of cloud and data center infrastructure deployments.Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e. g., vSphere, KVM, OpenStack, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as GO, Python, TCL, and Shell Scripting.Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.Knowledge of monitoring tools (e. g., Grafana, Kibana, MongoDB Atlas) and network traffic generation/debugging tools.Familiarity with next-gen firewalls, IDS, IPS, and micro-segmentation technologies.Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice to have :Exposure to Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.Relevant certifications in quality assurance or software testing.Competencies :Analytical thinking.Full-stack problem-solving abilities.Quick learning skills.Excellent hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Customer focus and willingness to assist others.
