Description:

Roles & Responsibilities : - Strong command of Java/Kotlin/Scala & the JVM ecosystem (Our server side code is primarily written in Kotlin, running on the JVM, but it is absolutely fine if you have no Kotlin experience, if you are comfortable in Java, Scala, Go, Rust, etc, Kotlin is easy and fun to learn!).- Strong command of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle,.etc.- Strong command of HTTP, and networking, including non-blocking I/O.- Extensive experience with at least one modern JVM based web framework (Ktor, Micronaut, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, Play, etc.).- Experience with Gradle.- Experience with Docker, and cloud native concepts.- Experience with concurrency and parallelism on the JVM.- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD for JVM projects (GitHub Actions, Linters,.Qodana, etc.).- Experience working on a client-side technology (Android, iOS, ReactJS, Flutter, etc.) is a bonus, but not required.- Experience leading a team is a bonus, but not required.- A good grip on Git & GitHub.- We typically use relational databases (like PostgreSQL).- We typically deploy to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP etc as well as VPS providers like Hetzner, Digital Ocean, etc.- The specific project you work on is decided based on the list of open projects at the time.- While what you work on will change over time, we assure you that you'll work with people who care. deeply about their work and deliver with great attention to detail.
