Job Description :We are seeking an experienced and dynamic NOC Team Lead to join our team. As the leader of our service continuity efforts, you will oversee a team of specialists responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our services across various environments, with a primary focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.Responsibilities :- Leadership and Team Management : Lead and mentor a local team of NOC engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the team's success in maintaining service continuity.- Monitoring and Alert Management : Oversee the constant monitoring of production, staging, and other environments for alerts and anomalies. Ensure prompt response to alerts, assess their severity, and guide the team in appropriate actions to ensure service continuity.- Incident Management : Act as the escalation point for all incidents related to service continuity, providing expert guidance to the team in incident triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis. Ensure incidents are managed effectively within defined SLAs and coordinate with other teams as necessary.- Proactive Issue Identification : Lead efforts to proactively identify potential issues or areas of concern within the AWS cloud environment. Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to address these issues before they escalate into major incidents.- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive documentation of incidents, resolutions, and best practices. Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions within the team to enhance incident response capabilities and preventive measures.- Collaboration and Communication : Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and security to address service continuity challenges. Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders regarding incident status and resolution.- Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, seeking opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and monitoring capabilities to improve service continuity in the AWS cloud environment.- Emergency Response : Be available for on-call rotations and provide leadership during emergencies, ensuring swift and effective response to maintain service availability and stability.Requirements :- At least 2 years of experience as an NOC team leader, Technical Support, Professional Services, Escalation Engineer, or a similar role.- Skilled in training, mentorship, and managing teams.- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with strong hands-on experience.- Experience working with challenging deadlines and competing priorities.- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.- Experience with monitoring tools, Grafana, NewRelic, OpenSearch, etc.- Experience with Jenkins.- Experience with AWS Cloud services.- Experience with mobile or serverless CI/CD.- Experience in scripting (Bash / Python).- Experience with configuration management tools.
