Designation: Jr. IBM APIC DeveloperWork Location: Vikhroli (W), Mumbai 400083Experience: 2+ yearsWe are seeking an API Specialist with expertise in IBM DataPower Gateway, IBM API Connect, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API Security, API Lifecycle Management, and proficiency in REST, JSON, XML, and related technologies.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement complex Internet and Intranet applications across platforms- Propose architectural improvements and design solutions- Design network architecture and facilitate extranet integration- Install and configure DataPower, API Connect, and Advance Developer Portal- Implement services like MPGW, WAF, WebServiceProxy, and Web XML firewall in DataPower- Configure API Connect Cloud with DataPower- Customize Developer Portal and manage backup/restore processes- Integrate with external user registries and design LoopBack Applications- Implement user-defined policies, security definitions, and error handling for APIs- Integrate applications using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XMLCompetencies:- Extensive experience in complex application development- Proven ability to recommend architectural improvements- Hands-on experience with API development and configuration- Strong skills in API security and lifecycle management- Proficiency in diverse protocols and message formatsSkills:- Enthusiastic, creative, and flexible- Strong organizational and prioritization skills- Able to work independently and collaboratively- Professional work ethic- Excellent written and verbal communicationEducation:- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (ref:hirist.tech)
