Mandate Skills : Windows(Hyper-V),Active Directory and VmwareCandidates with Excellent Communication skillsWork Locations : Bengaluru or NoidaShift timings : 5 : 30PM to 2 : 30PMNote- Will Open the position for IJP- Will look at profiles from both Bangalore and Noida - preference will be given to quick joinersJob Description :Shift Coverage :- Permanent Night Shift is mandatory as coverage will be in US day timeRole and Responsibilities : - Windows and VMware Environment Management : - Implement and maintain Windows-based systems, including servers, desktops, and virtual machines.- Oversee the deployment, and maintenance of VMware virtualization infrastructure.- Monitor system performance, security, and availability for both Windows and VMware environments to proactively identify and resolve issues.Communication Skills : - Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and present ideas clearly and concisely.Team Collaboration : - Actively contribute to a dynamic team of Windows and VMware administrators, fostering an environment of mutual support and cooperation.- Engaged in teambuilding and participate in collaborative teams progress.- Maintain open lines of communication with line managers, sharing updates on the daily activities, and play a part in identifying improvement opportunities for the benefit of the team and its overall success.Security and Compliance : - Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices to safeguard Windows and VMware environments.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA, where applicable.Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution : - Investigate and resolve technical issues, system failures, and user problems related to both Windows and VMware systems.- Develop and document incident response procedures for both environments.Backup and Recovery : - Establish and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Windows and VMware environments to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Linux systems, ensuring data integrity and business continuity in the event of system failures.Patch Management : - Plan and execute routine Windows updates and patches as well as VMware updates to ensure system security and stability.Vendor and Stakeholder Relations : - Collaborate with hardware and software vendors for support and troubleshooting activities related to both Windows and VMware systems.- Work closely with other departments to assess their IT needs and provide solutions for both environments.Documentation and Training : - Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies for both Windows and VMware environments.- Provide support for end-users as needed for both Windows and VMware systems.Collaboration : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and security teams, to ensure the seamless integration of Linux systems with overall business processes.- Training and Development : - Identify training needs and provide opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in Windows and VMware administration.Continuous Service Improvement Plan : - Develop and work on implementing a continuous service improvement plans to enhance the performance, security, and efficiency of Windows and VMware systems, incorporating feedback and analysis to drive continuous enhancement.Innovation : - Encourage and explore innovative solutions and technologies to enhance infrastructure and operational efficiency and help in automating routine operational support processes with tools such PowerShell, VMware PowerCLI, Ansible and VBScripts to streamlining operations.Qualification / Skills Required : - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 8+ years of proven experience in Windows and VMware systems administration.- Excellent skills in console management tools and administration, such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar tools.- Strong experience in managing VMware virtualization environments.- Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.- Experience in security patching vulnerability management processes.- Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator, MCSE, VMware- Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
