The ABAP Consultant will be responsible for implementing and customizing SAP solutions using ABAP programming language.The day-to-day tasks will include developing ABAP programs, designing and implementing ALV Reports, User Exits, BAPI, and IDoc. The role is an on-site position located in Bengaluru.Qualifications :- Strong knowledge and experience in SAP ABAP programming.- Proficiency in creating ALV Reports and implementing User Exits, BAPI, and IDoc.- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Prior experience with SAP implementation projects is a plus.- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Key Responsibilities : - Develop and customize ABAP programs to enhance SAP functionalities according to project requirements. Design and implement ALV Reports for efficient data presentation and analysis. - Implement User Exits to incorporate custom logic and enhance standard SAP processes. - Utilize BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface) for integrating external applications with SAP systems. - Implement IDoc (Intermediate Document) for data exchange between different systems within the SAP landscape. - Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing ABAP programs to ensure smooth system operation. - Document technical specifications, solution designs, and test plans.
