Salary : 12 - 25 LPAJob Summary :We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver to ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications, with a focus on projects within the Telecom domain.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.- Utilize your knowledge of Full QA Lifecycle to create thorough test plans, identify test scenarios, and execute tests effectively.- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report them using a bug tracking system.- Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in QA automation tools and methodologies.- (Optional) Contribute to the improvement of existing test automation frameworks and tools.Qualifications :Mandatory Skills :- 3-6 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on WebUI testing.- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and processes (e.g., BDD frameworks).- Proficiency in Python development language (3+ years).- Basic understanding of containerized applications and testing methodologies for them.- Basic understanding of networking concepts relevant to the Telecom domain.- Basic knowledge of Linux environment.- Proven experience applying a methodical and analytical approach to testing, with a keen eye for detail.- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with team members.- Self-motivated and a team player with a strong work ethic.Nice to Have Skills :- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.- Prior experience within the Telecom domain (2G/3G/4G) or a similar technical field.- Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for test automation integration.- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) for on-premise and cloud environments.
