Job Title : Platform Engineer. Experience : 6+ years. Budget : Up to 18-20 LPA. Mode of Work : Work From Office (WFO), Hybrid. Location : Bangalore. Skills Required :- Proficiency in GitHub administration and development.- Experience in backlog management.- Strong analytical skills.- Familiarity with Jira or similar backlog management tools.- Ability to elicit and break down needs into actionable user stories.- Self-driven, autonomous, and outcome-focused.- Ownership and management of product backlog.- Effective communication of complex technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders.- Team player with the capability to build high-performing, collaborative teams.- Partnering with process teams to ensure alignment with other platforms, such as Service Now. Job Description :- Utilize extensive experience as an Engineer/Architect to manage and maintain GitHub platform and products effectively.- Preferably possess experience in a Product/Platform Owner or similar role.- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to tackle complex challenges.- Utilize knowledge of backlog management tools like Jira to streamline project management processes.- Translate requirements into actionable user stories, demonstrating a keen understanding of user needs.- Take ownership of product backlog, prioritizing tasks effectively.- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.- Foster a collaborative and ownership-driven team environment, ensuring high performance.- Collaborate with process teams to align GitHub processes with other platforms, enhancing end-to-end efficiency.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 6+ years of relevant experience in platform engineering or related roles.- Proven expertise in GitHub administration and development.- Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Jira.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
