It offers variety, challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential.Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.Your key responsibilities :- Designing solutions specific to business requirements and support of our Derivatives, Pricing and Collateral operations- On-boarding of major new and existing clients for Middle Office (including Clearing and Collateral Management)- Review the client and change requirements/scope documents from the Business Analysis team and identify a sustainable approach to the development needed to meet the requirements. - Raise/enrich stories for functionality to be developed within Calypso- Support and contribute to the test scripts required to enhance our automated testing framework- Contribute to production support- Provide innovative solutions that add business value- Will work closely with the POD leads in ensuring the platform adheres and is technically compliant to the requirements expected of a Tier 1 platform such as MODA- Will work with Product Owner & team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams- Actively engaged within the IT industry and leverage knowledge gained to modernise the HSS Calypso platform with industry standard architecture framework and techniques- Provision and maintenance of support documentation on centralised repositories such as Confluence and JIRA- Automated Testing using industry standard test tool FitNesse- Raise any issues found on the Calypso functionality with Calypso Helpdesk and follow it throughTo qualify for the role, you must have :- 5 years plus IT experience with hands-on technology and project delivery- 5 years plus experience working on the Calypso (vendor) product- Demonstrable (minimum 2 years) experience implementing solutions for Derivatives Management , Securities and Collateral Management - Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, Unix (shell scripting) with good understanding of the Java Spring framework.- Ability to create CI/CD automated solutions using technologies such as Jenkins/ Ansible- Strong configuration and design experience to ensure solutions implemented are supportable- Key to the success of the individual will be their ability to take on new responsibility, be accountable and innovativeSkills and attributes : In addition to technical competence, what will set you up for success at EY is your ability to :- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills- Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills- Strong communication, presentation and writing skills in Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.- Project management skills- Willingness and ability to travel and work abroad for international projectsWhat we look for :People with the ability to work in a collaborative manner to provide services across multiple client departments while following the commercial and legal requirements.
