Job Title : Network Security EngineerLocation : BangaloreJob Description :Seeking a Network Security Engineer with expertise in security architecture, network protocols, and cloud security. Responsibilities include firewall management, IDS/IPS implementation, and automation using Python, Terraform, and Ansible. Collaboration with US teams and flexibility for overlapping shifts and occasional remote work required.Must Have Skill Set :- Understanding of Security Architecture- Network Architecture - complete understanding and hands on.- Complete hands-on Firewall (In&Out) hardware, virtualware- Change Management Lifecycle IDS,IPS- Python/Terraform/Ansible- Cloud - MandatoryPreferred : Collaborating with US Team expShift : Regular but overlapping is expected with US team Remote : Quarterly twice or as and when required - 10 to 6, overlapping is expectedUndoubtedly superb communication skillsRoles & Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain network security architecture in alignment with organizational requirements and industry best practices.- Manage both hardware and virtual firewalls, ensuring robust security measures for inbound and outbound network traffic.- Implement and maintain intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) to safeguard network infrastructure against potential threats.- Utilize automation tools such as Python, Terraform, and Ansible to streamline network security operations and enhance efficiency.- Lead change management lifecycle for network security updates and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including US-based counterparts, to address security concerns and implement solutions.- Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.- Provide timely incident response and resolution to security incidents, adhering to predefined protocols and escalation procedures.- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement.- Maintain documentation of network security configurations, policies, and procedures for reference and compliance purposes.
