Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and business analysis. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching our team of data analysts and data scientists to achieve business goals and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. In addition, you will be expected to stay up to date with the latest machine learning algorithms and lead the team in adopting scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis.Responsibilities :- Lead the development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and business analysis.- Mentor and coach, our team of data analysts and data scientists to achieve business goals and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.- Develop algorithms and statistical predictive models and determine analytical approaches and modelling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes.- Lead the team in adopting scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis and ML Ops.- Provide thought-leadership and dependable execution on diverse projects.- Identify emergent trends and opportunities for future client growth and development.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet client needs.- Present results and recommendations to non-technical business audiences to drive the decision making process.Qualifications:- 8-10+ years of experience in data sciences and should have handled a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists.- Proven experience in developing actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders.- Excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly and compellingly verbally and in written form.- Experience deploying data science solutions with proven business benefits.- Educational background in statistics/data sciences/engineering. PhD in related field will be an added advantage.- Proficiency with open-source analytical tools and one or more Data Science Platforms (AWS Sage maker/ Azure ML/ H2O.AI/ Databricks etc.).- Subject Matter Expertise in effective machine learning tools and technologies including unstructured analytics: NLP, Computer Vision, and Audio Analytics.- Proficient in database programming in SQL.- Proficient in software development technologies, especially Python.- Domain expertise in any one or more of the following domains: Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, Retail & FMCG.- Experience and familiarity with common business use cases of analytics.Nice-to-Have:- Experience with data engineering and big data tools (e.g., Google Big Query, Hadoop/AWS EMR, Kafka).- Programming in NOSQL environments.- Experience with data visualization and presentation using tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense & Power BI.- Currently has an active license in at least one Associate level cloud certifications/licenses.
