Job Description :We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Testing Engineer & Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, coupled with strong leadership skills to lead a team of testers. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products as we continue to innovate and grow.Responsibilities :- Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Define testing strategies and best practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.- Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement, working closely with the development team to address defects and enhance product quality.- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing, incorporating relevant tools and techniques into our testing processes.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team, implementing new tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and effectiveness.- Act as a subject matter expert in automation testing, providing guidance and training to team members as needed.- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and ensure alignment with business objectives.- Handle escalations and effectively resolve any testing-related issues or challenges that arise.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 6+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing, with proficiency in leading testing efforts for complex projects.- Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of testers, with demonstrated leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.- Passion for technology and a drive for continuous learning and improvement (ref:hirist.tech)
