Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing data, and designing solutions that drive efficiency and growth.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role.Skills & Experience:Requirements Gathering and Analysis:- Proven ability to gather and document business requirements through various techniques (interviews, workshops, user stories).- Expertise in analyzing requirements to identify pain points, opportunities, and key functionalities.- Ability to translate business needs into clear and concise technical specifications.Data Analysis:- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.- Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to extract and manipulate data.Process Improvement:- Demonstrated experience in identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions.- Ability to develop and document process flows and workflows.Communication & Collaboration:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across all levels (business users, developers, etc.).- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Project Management:- Strong project management skills to manage requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation phases.- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) (a plus).Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Familiarity with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN) (a plus)- Knowledge of basic SQL queries (a plus)Bonus Points:- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools for data visualization and reporting.- Experience working in Agile development environments.- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA)Responsibilities:- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.- Conduct business process analysis and identify areas for improvement.- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.- Analyze data to identify trends and support decision-making.- Develop and document user stories and use cases.- Create and maintain business process models and workflows.- Work collaboratively with developers and other IT professionals to ensure requirements are met.- Participate in system testing and validation activities.- Document business processes and solutions for future reference.- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
