Description:

We are looking for a seasoned and passionate QA Testing Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by designing, executing, and automating rigorous test plans.Primary Skills (Must-Have):- 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of success.- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).- Expertise in manual and automated testing techniques (e.g., functional testing, non-functional testing, exploratory testing).- Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).- Familiarity with performance testing tools (optional, but a plus).- Excellent understanding of software defects and bug lifecycle management.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate test results to developers and stakeholders.- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.Bonus Points:- Experience with mobile testing (iOS and Android).- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).- Experience with exploratory testing frameworks (e.g., ISTQB CTFL-PT).- Experience with security testing methodologies (optional, but a plus).- Software development experience (e.g., programming languages, basic coding skills).Responsibilities:- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.- Design and execute test cases covering all aspects of the software functionality (functional, non-functional, usability).- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and scripting languages.- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by test plans.- Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration between different software components.- Analyze test results, identify and document bugs, and work with developers to resolve them effectively.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on code quality from a testing perspective.- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process within the organization.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers (if applicable).
