Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Security Analyst to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in protecting our organization's IT infrastructure and data from cyber threats.Primary Skills (Must-Have):- 5+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.- Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls).- Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) methodologies.- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).- Experience with incident response procedures and best practices.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bonus Points:- Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS Security Services, Azure Security Center).- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Stack).- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.- Experience with digital forensics and incident response (DFIR).- Experience with security scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).- Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CISSP).Responsibilities:- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses in our IT infrastructure.- Analyze security logs and events to detect and investigate potential security threats.- Monitor and maintain security controls (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).- Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.- Provide security awareness training to employees.- Document security findings and recommendations.- Collaborate with other IT teams on security initiatives.
