Description:
Z/OS Mainframe System Administrator. Experience : 4 + years Location : Remote JD:- Install upgrade maintain and customise other z/OS related IBM and OEM products.- Perform SMP/E tasks and work with multi CPU Sysplex environment.- Apply planned maintenances monitor product PTFs to make sure the products are up to date.- Implementations, proactively monitor z/OS and related software and to take action to prevent potential issues and to maximize performance to improve such monitoring and increase automation.- Possible to maintain robustness of the configuration and to maintain and test the mainframe DR solution to produce technical recommendations and service and stability improvements in line with business requirements.- Gather information and produce reports to satisfy client and vendor requirements such as SCRT reporting.- Experienced at troubleshooting performance issues in a z/OS environment.- Working experience in a multi CPU Sysplex environment.
