Overview :Job Title : Software EngineerJob Summary: Hiring a Software Engineer with 2-6 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining computer software to work in a Bangalore-based, Series A, well-funded footwear brand founded by international shoe experts from the U.S. , Italy, and India. The company has been growing by 2x year-on-year with a proven track record in both B2B and E-commerce channels and a growing demand for exports.Location : Koramangala, BangaloreJob Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain software and testing methods for e-commerce platforms, data analytics, and related systems.- Maintain a repository of all software changes.- Analyse data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems.- Work cross-functionally with departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.- Apply best practices and standard operating procedures.- Create innovative solutions to meet our company's technical needs.Requirement :- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.- Previous experience in software engineering or software development experience, preferably in e-commerce and data analytics.- Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages.- Experience using relevant tool suites.- A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.- Experience managing the software development lifecycle.- Excellent coding skills and extensive knowledge of agile methodologies.- Strong team-building skills and creative problem-solving skills.- The ability to prioritise activities and deliver projects on time and within budget.- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsTechnical Skills & Requirements :- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 2-6 years of experience in software engineering or software development, preferably in e-commerce and data analytics.- Hands-on programming experience with relevant languages (familiarity with languages commonly used in e-commerce and data analytics is a plus).- Experience using relevant tool suites for software development and data analysis.- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and algorithms.- Experience managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).- Excellent coding skills and a deep understanding of agile methodologies.Bonus Points :- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).- Experience with DevOps practices.- Experience with building APIs.
