Responsibilities :Manage a team of two front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentLead by example, actively participating in the development of front-end solutionsEnsure the successful execution of front-end development tasks, distribute work assignments, and monitor progress adhering to project timelines and milestonesPromote a positive team culture that values communication, accountability, and continuous improvementWork with digital designers and developers to implement compelling designs and innovative solutions for the website and help maintain all user-facing featuresDevelop CSS and asset libraries as well as produce reusable code to help maintain consistency in brand executionCommunicate with clients in order to execute desired results for UI features provided in our SaaS offeringsAssist QA to test pages on multiple browsers and displays across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices; help identify problems and provide recommendations and solutionsStay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the team's workflow where applicableWho You Are :Previous experience in a Leadership and Management role A MUST10+ year experience in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript)Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilitiesGreat communication and organization skills, with strong attention to detailSolid understanding of implementing best-practice, high performance, responsive interfaces for the modern webExpert in HTML with the ability to write clean and well-documented codeMastery in CSS frameworks and preprocessors, such as LESS, Flexbox, CSS Grid, etc.Expertise in JavaScript as well as modern JS frameworks/libraries (JQuery, React, etc.)Highly knowledgeable of the principles of design, responsive design, and best practicesAbility to convert a digital mockup into a functional user-facing feature on the websiteUnderstanding of SEO principles as well as accessibility requirements (WCAG ADA)Working knowledge of Email HTML and Email DevelopmentAbility to present code and handoff solutions to developersUp to date with the latest UI best practices, techniques, and technologiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while following prioritiesTeam player with a positive attitudeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMust Have :Self-disciplined & Good work-ethicsAttention to detail & can-do attitudeHaving conceptual clarityTechno-business thought processTaking Responsibility of own & team workStrong and effective communication skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong problem solving aptitudeNice-to-Haves :Experience converting Figma files into usable UIsKnowledge of modern file/image formats such as SVGUnderstanding of basic animation/motion concepts and the ability to create them in codeExperience using Visual Studio IDEExperience with Azure DevOps or TFSExperience with GITUnderstanding of Source Control and Branching Strategy (ref:hirist.tech)
