Job:GM/ AVP – Anodizing Surface Treatment- ATP Location:Hubballi, Karnataka Experience:20+ Years Education:BE/PG in Chemical Engineering / M Sc Job Description: Ability to define clear process controls and documentation for a robust process. • Expertise in dealing with FA and characterization on finishing defects is preferred. • Ability to use advanced analytical tools to characterize surface topography and material characteristics. • Solid understanding of DOE principles and use of statistical software. • Experience with other chemical metal surface treatments for corrosion protection including conversion coating. • History of successfully implementing new processes (possibly automation) in a mass production environment. • Investigate and validate new surface finishing processes, techniques, and equipment where appropriate. • Lead, develop and grow a diversely skilled engineering team • Drive standardization of engineering processes, analytical problem solving, failure analysis and corrective actions • Collaborate with operations, quality and other process and design teams to integrate learnings across the line into a scalable product • Lead the development of cleaning and surface finishing processes (including but not limited to processes like ultrasonic cleaning, sand blasting, surface treatment etc) • Champion the strong use of statistical tools (like JMP and Minitab) to analyse process data & lead systematic DMAIC approach for process improvement • Work closely with sub-tier Designs for Manufacturing (DFMs) impacting process design and development - fixtures and jigs • Routinely interact with customer to present process findings, data and analysis; recommend process improvements and ideas for improving yields and process consistency
