Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer with extensive experience in automated testing using Cypress and/or PlayWright. As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead a team of QA engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the implementation of automated testing strategies. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in test automation best practices Develop and implement automated testing frameworks using Cypress and/or PlayWright Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of web applications Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans Conduct code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies Identify and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency Investigate and troubleshoot issues, working closely with development teams to resolve defects in a timely manner Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing Strong proficiency in automated testing tools such as Cypress and/or PlayWright Experience leading a team of QA engineers and driving the implementation of automated testing strategies Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, etc. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack) Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)
