Position Overview :As a ServiceNow Developer specializing in IT Operations Management (ITOM), you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITOM applications, with a focus on Discovery and Service Mapping. You will leverage your expertise in the ServiceNow platform to enhance CMDB functionality, streamline processes, and improve IT service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in ServiceNow ITOM, a deep understanding of CMDB concepts and processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.Key Responsibilities :ServiceNow ITOM Implementation :- Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, particularly Discovery and Service Mapping, to automate the identification and mapping of IT infrastructure and services.CMDB Management :- Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its associated processes, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and relevance.- Utilize Out-of-the-Box (OOB) class structures and the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) process to design and populate the CMDB effectively.ServiceNow Platform Expertise :- Demonstrate overall knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including building new applications, integrating with external systems, and enhancing existing applications to meet evolving business requirements.Solution Design and Recommendations :- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that leverage ServiceNow ITOM capabilities effectively.- Provide recommendations and best practices for solution design, integrations, and process improvements.Gap Analysis and Improvements :- Conduct gap analysis of existing solutions and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.- Propose and implement enhancements to existing ServiceNow implementations to address identified gaps and improve efficiency.Team Guidance and Mentoring :- Guide and mentor team members on ServiceNow ITOM concepts, best practices, and implementation methodologies.- Provide technical leadership and support to junior developers to ensure successful project delivery.Stakeholder Management :- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, and management, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.Key Skills :- Experience in implementing ServiceNow ITOM modules, particularly Discovery and Service Mapping.- Strong knowledge of CMDB concepts, OOB class structures, and the CSDM process.- Proficiency in the ServiceNow platform, including application development, integrations, and customization.- Ability to design solutions for new requirements and integrations, following best practices and industry standards.- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps in existing solutions and propose and implement improvements.- Experience working in large organizations managing multiple Service Management tools.- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.- Certified in CIS Discovery, CIS Service Mapping, and ITIL Certified.Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
