Job Description for Backend Software Engineer / DeveloperExperienced in :- Web Application Development using Python and associated frameworks (FastAPI, Flask)- Working with NoSQL/SQL database (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)- Designing server-side applications and systems- Containerising applications using dockerPreferred Experience in :- Building and working with Text Search Engines (Apache Solr/Elasticsearch)- Building Semantic search engines for a Big Data dataset- Big Data processing and associated frameworks (Apache Spark/pyspark)- Utilising Natural language processing algorithms to build comparison and ranking algorithms.Operational Competencies :- Software development lifecycle- Git/GitHub for Version control management and releasesLocation : Mohali, Punjab (On-site) (ref:hirist.tech)
