Position: Software Project Delivery HeadLocation: Bangalore - YelahankaJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSkills Sets:- 10+ Years of Total experience, out of which 5 years in Project Management, Managing Multiple Large scale software deployments.- Rich Experience of delivering large software projects in the Power Distribution Sector.- Experience in RAPDRP, RDSS and IPDS projects.- 8+ Years of experience in Project Management, Application Development projects with a minimum of 4 years in project leading roles, having successfully delivered 2-4 large size projects.- Expertise in Java/ J2EE, Spring, Web Technologies, Open source frameworks, Mobile Application Development, Database technologies etc.- Working in any of the utility Projects like Power and Water utilities will be an added advantage.- Should have worked on Enterprise Application Development Team Management.- Should demonstrate technical capability of solving development and functional issues faced by the development team.- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.- Thorough knowledge of CMMI, Agile processes, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.- Provide technical guidance to the team members on a larger scale.- PMP Certification would be an added advantage- Excellent Communication Skills.Job Description :- End to end delivery responsibility and meeting end results of multiple projects.- Delivery Management with respect to various milestones of the project.- Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices & applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve services.- Conceptualize the product/ solution, manage requirements, plan and own the project delivery lifecycle.- Attend all project meetings to ensure smooth communication-ordination and delivery of projects.- Ensure project deliverables as per budget and project goals.- Status reporting to management/ stakeholder on the project deliverables/ issues/ risks.- Resolves and/or escalates issues and risks in a timely manner.- Monitor and assess the demands for resources in the project and ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet the customer demands whilst ensuring effective & efficient delivery.- High quality and process orientation.- Execute the delivery strategy ensuring all activities are fully compliant with RFP.- Manage a high performing large team ensuring delivery of agreed performance objectives.- Recruit suitable candidates for the group, induct new members.- Help team members in laying down their performance plans and manage/ enhance their performance.- Continually strives to increase stakeholder satisfaction.- Demonstrate strong customer orientation and relationship management in new engagements.- Proactively participate in organizational initiative.Education: MCA or BE with Computer Science/IT/E&CE/Information Science (ref:hirist.tech)
