Description:
ROLE :Functional support to internal users at all levels of the business, investigating issues, creating resolutions, and working with the technical teams to provide fixes (including Oracle support & raising or Oracle Tickets) and STAT migrations.Must Have :- Understand, setup and modify Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, profile options etc.) for the Oracle Project Accounting (must have) & AR Modules (Project Billing, Project Costing, Receivables).- Understand, setup and modify Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, profile options etc.) for the Oracle Finance Modules (GL, FA, CM, AP).- Create test plans, test cases, test scripts, perform functional testing and leading/involvement in UAT as required.- Analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems and recommend system improvements to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Finance Team.- Gather requirements, analyse, create design documents, and performs impact analysis for application changes.- Functional Specification design for projects, process improvements and ad hoc requirements for Oracle eBusiness suite in the core modules including Project Accounting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets.- Create and maintain system documentation.- Support/understanding of other non-Oracle applications including various Project Management tools, Business Intelligence, Control-M, etc- Liaise/ support other finance and IT members (Production Processing, Developers, DBAs, System Admins etc) with the Oracle Financial Applications- Work with all members of Group IT and 3rd parties to define the most effective and efficient technical solutions to deliver effective and efficient business solutions- Work closely with IT Project Managers and as directed, to achieve the agreed deliverablesKEY SKILLS :- Good understanding of ERP systems from a finance perspective (ideally Oracle R12 & Oracle Cloud) and must have Oracle General Ledger (including) : 1. Primary, Secondary, STAT and Reporting Ledgers 2. Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA) 3. Currency: Translation/Revaluation 4. New LE & Ledger Setups 5. Financial Statement Generator (FSG) 6. Reporting/Reconciliation 7. COA Mapping 8. GL Wand 9. Internal/External Audit Experience 10. Fixed Assets and good working knowledge of Projects module.11. Ability to lead projects and run requirements workshops and testing cycles.12. You will have a good understanding of the underlaying finance business process in the areas : Projects/ Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/General Ledger/Fixed Assets/Purchasing 13. Excellent interpersonal skills 14. Great attention to detail and a problem solver 15. Fluency - ability to understand relationships between the tools and system architecture of the business.16. Self-starter who works under minimum supervision 17. Good time management and organizational skills (encompassing need to be flexible about priorities) 18. Able to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels in the organization 19. Strong attention to detail/accuracy and capable of seeing the overall objective (being able to distinguish between micro details and not lose sight of the bigger picture).20. Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames.21. Have the ability to deal with demanding internal customers.22. Have strong analytical and diagnostic skills 23. Ability to work across multiple business areas 24. Strong Experience of Excel is a must.25. Dataload & TOAD/SQL Developer would be beneficial (ref:hirist.tech)
