As part of the role, apart from coordinating and customer communication managing process, role must lead implementation, identify continual improvement and performance tuning possibilities.Background Role is expected to be Tech lead as implementation and configuration expert from A-Z for splunk tool and be a trusted advisor to customerKey Skills We are looking for candidates with Splunk expert of the below skillsetJob Description :Must have : - Minimum 7 Years of experience in Splunk tools. - Analyse Splunk system / environment in place, Review Splunk requests and provide suggestions. - Provide recommendations based on Splunk analysis. - Manage internal and external stakeholders. - Implement Splunk recommendations or requirements (dishoarding / ingestion / apps), cross skilled expertise. - This position is for an experienced Splunk professional with subject matter expertise in system architecture and engineering for Splunk environments. - Supports capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations. - Improves system efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, supports evolution of system administrator procedures, and provides content in support of engineer training. - Ensures system security and executes practices and procedures. - This next generation platform will be optimized for network observability as well as optimized for performance and cost effectiveness. - Design and implement a technical infrastructure based on functional requirements for new and existing Splunk instances. - Participate in requirements gathering, architecting, building, and supporting operational teams - Improving the Splunk deployment via curtailing the data, optimizing reporting, reviewing and tuning configurations, and enhancing search capabilities. - Creating and implementing configuration standards, policies, and/or procedures for improved Splunk operations and management. - Deploying new Splunk installations, refining configuration management capabilities, ensure license management is operating ideally. - Document installation procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc. - Supports troubleshooting of system related problems. Administration of Splunk including configuration and access management - New log and data on boarding - Exploration of alternative logging solutions/technologies - Reporting used for troubleshooting, - Audit and problem resolution Integrate automation, application and systems monitoring. - Dashboard developmentGood to Have : - Degree in Information Systems or Engineering or Equivalent technical training/Experience - Splunk or related Certification desired - Excellent communication skills - ITIL CertifiedExperience :- 7+ years Splunk Administration on Linux - Knowledge of privilege elevation tools Load Balancing Technologies - Experience working with other tools and technologies with excellent oral and written communication. - Must be able to communicate at all organizational levels - Self-motivated, confident and reliable - Willing to work in a team-oriented environment with global team members must be a problem solver with root cause analysis skills who brings solutions to the team - Ability to document installation procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc. - Experience with ITSM Remedy or other ITSM toolsEducation :- Technical graduate e.g. BE/ BSc /MCA- Certificate (Desired) ITIL Any Splunk CertificationLocation Onsite :PanindiaStart Date : ImmediateWork/Shift : Time US General Shift (ref:hirist.tech)
