About the job :Job Description for AR/VR Application Architect. As the Augmented Reality Application Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical architecture and implementation of AR features within our mobile / web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality AR experiences that meet the needs of our users.Keyword :- Knowledge working on different libraries like scene view, AR tool kit, reality kit, unity etc.- Excellent creative and visualization skills and eye for details.- Designing, testing and developing of virtual or augmented reality software- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to design VR products- Manage cloud databases for company projects.- Integrate APIs into VR product systems.- Develop unit tests and quality validation procedures.- Depending on the project type, create virtual worlds for a variety of AR or VR situations.- Participate in project planning and code reviews with the team.- Keeping up with the newest augmented and virtual reality trends and development.- 2-4+ years of experience developing AR, LIDAR, or VR systems- Develop interactive mobile applications for Web, iOS and Android platforms, integrating features such as augmented reality (AR) and geolocation-based interactions.Responsibilities :- Lead the architectural design of AR features and functionality within mobile / web applications.- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of AR concepts and features.- Design scalable and efficient AR systems that leverage the capabilities of mobile devices.- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in AR technology and integrate them into our applications.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers working on AR-related projects.- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues related to AR implementation.- Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and stability of AR features through testing and validation.- Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed for AR-related initiatives.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in designing and developing mobile applications with a focus on augmented reality.- Strong understanding of AR concepts, frameworks, and SDKs (e.g., ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia).- Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (for iOS) and/or Kotlin/Java (for Android).- Experience with 3D graphics programming and rendering techniques.- Familiarity with computer vision algorithms and techniques.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Experience with Web GL and Three (ref:hirist.tech)
