Exp : 5Yrs - 8 YrsNotice period : Immediate to 15 days joiners only.Salary Range : You can go up to 14 lpaWork Location : HYDJob description : - In-depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian Etc.- Managing and configuring LVM, SWAP etc.- Knowledge on azure environment.- Knowledge of Linux based application server.- Experience with Java, Java frameworks and technologies such as Tomcat.- Ability to install and configure PKI certificates.- Ability to patch Linux Servers using Satellite console.- Monitor server performance and availability.- Being familiar with VMware or Nutanix concepts- Ability to build, configure Linux Servers from VMware or Nutanix Template- Ability to build, configure Linux Servers from azure environment.- Ability to troubleshoot VM from the azure environment.- Installs configures, documents, and maintains Linux OS, hardware & software.- Develops tests, and documents disaster recovery.- Schedules and performs installations & upgrades as needed though Change Control- Troubleshoots problems, operating systems, and application software.- Ability to develop and maintain programs and scripts that aid in the operation and automation of administrative tasks using various shell and scripting languages Such as Shell, Pearl, or Python.- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP- Work with the team to define and implement best practices and standards within the organization.- Ability to tune operating systems and applications to increase performance and reliability of services.- Ability to troubleshoot quickly and effectively to determine the root cause. Implement and document fix.- Ability to coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems.- Communication - able to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful manner using preferred method and level as applicable to the job. Able to effectively communicate information and ideas, speaking and writing in terms understandable to others.- Team Orientation & Interpersonal - highly motivated team player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organization.- Organization & Time Management - able to plan, schedule, organize, and follow up on tasks related to the job to achieve goals within or ahead of established time frames with minimal supervision.Multi-task - Ability to expeditiously organize, coordinate, manage, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously to swiftly assess a situation, determine a logical course of action, and apply the appropriate response.
