What your day-to-day will look like :- Participate in ideation sessions with business stakeholders to form productive, trusting relationships - Partner with the marketing and business teams to create collateral that generates excitement and makes it easy for users to adopt and understand the benefits of new releases - Work with product leaders to understand cross product dependencies, and the overall RXO product strategy, to influence your product roadmap - Develop a strong relationship with your engineering and design counterparts, communicate effectively with them and work together to deliver value to RXO - Prioritize and write user stories; partner with development team to break things down and plan them into releases - Act as an SME to other product team members. Help with spreading product knowledge and expertise in the organization. - Focus on building value for our business, not just adding features; develop innovative and unique product offerings by leveraging knowledge of the key market challenges that exist in competitor products - Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while also developing key stakeholder relationships in various locations - Engage with business stakeholders to learn about the industry and acquire a deep understanding of its processes What you'll need to excel :At a minimum, you'll need :- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience - 3 years of related experience It'd be great if you also have :- 3 years of software product experience within Agile development environment - Ability to simplify and articulate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences - Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion to deliver solutions that bring most business value - Proficiency with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio - Understanding and use of basic SQL - Experience working in organization with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders - Mid- to senior-level product experience, including leading meetings and presenting to executives while being their main resource for all things related to technology innovation - Proven experience in leading innovation, influencing stakeholders, and driving a product roadmap - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience (ref:hirist.tech)
