Job Description :We are currently seeking a talented Cloud Architect with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps practices to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be on cloud architecture design and implementation, with a good-to-have proficiency in Python development as a secondary skill. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps skills and a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts.Required : Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation, with expertise in any Cloud Platform (Preferred Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services).Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with DevOps practices and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Good-To-have :Proficiency in backend development, with expertise in Python and the ability to develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other components for cloud-based applications.Key Responsibilities :Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to meet the evolving needs of our products and services.Quickly grasp and understand the existing product and system architecture, and leverage GCP services effectively to optimize performance and reliability.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architectures that align with business objectives.Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems by implementing best practices and monitoring solutions, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.Actively participate in DevOps practices to automate deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring workflows, utilising DevOps tools and methodologies.Responsible to automate and streamline the IT operations and processes around product deployment and releasesShould have experience in optimizing IT costs with best DevOps practicesCommunicate with the Client to understand infrastructure challenges and risks and be able to propose solutions and a roadmap for transformationLead teams by example to create self-service, fully automated build infrastructures that reduce friction in the development process and improve the quality of customer application portfoliosDevelop and implement software delivery standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with client teams and partners to prioritise software configuration needsConduct performance analysis and optimization to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly.Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other components necessary for cloud-based applications, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.
