About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining our backend services using a microservices architecture. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Java, cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps tools to build high-performing and scalable solutions.Responsibilities :Java Expertise :- Possess strong experience in core Java principles, Object-Oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and design patterns.- Experience with relational databases (RDBMS) like Oracle, SQL queries, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like JPA/Hibernate.Microservices Architecture :- In-depth understanding of microservices principles and best practices for building modular and independent services.- Experience with container-based development and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with microservices frameworks like Spring Boot and API documentation tools like Swagger.Cloud and DevOps :- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment methodologies for backend systems.- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.- Experience with DevOps tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.Additional Skills : - Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit) and potentially automated UI testing tools (Selenium) is a plus.- Familiarity with NoSQL databases or Big Data technologies (Cassandra, Elastic Search, Hadoop Stack) is a plus (preferred).- Experience with streaming/aggregation frameworks (Storm, Spark) is a plus (preferred experience).Leadership and Collaboration :- Proven ability to lead multiple projects from inception to production, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.- Experience collaborating with QA teams to develop and review test scenarios.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other developers and teams.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field (preferred).- Minimum of 4 years of IT experience.- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related field involving SDLC implementation.
