Description:
Position Overview :We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT project management, along with strong communication skills and familiarity with essential project management tools. While a PMP certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and schedule.Responsibilities :- Manage and oversee IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.- Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, and stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using Microsoft Project and other relevant tools.- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly, providing timely updates and escalation as needed.- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements, define project scope, and resolve issues.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and drive project delivery.- Ensure compliance with project management best practices and organizational policies.- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT project management.- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project, Office 365 applications (including SharePoint and MS Teams), and Visio.- Familiarity with financial accounts and budget management.- PMP certification preferred but not required.- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications :- PMP certification.- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.- Previous experience in the [specific industry/sector] is a plus.
