About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled Messaging Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing our messaging infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of Exchange Server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud (Exchange Online and Office 365).Responsibilities : - Design, Deployment, and Management:- Design, deploy, and manage Exchange Server environments, including Exchange Online and Office 365 configurations. - Ensure smooth integration between Active Directory services and messaging systems.Migration Planning and Execution :- Plan and execute complex migration projects, including on-premises to cloud migrations (e.g., to Exchange Online) and tenant-to-tenant migrations within Office 365.High Availability and Disaster Recovery :- Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for messaging platforms.Security and Compliance :- Develop and enforce security policies and practices to safeguard the messaging infrastructure.- Stay up-to-date on security best practices and industry regulations.Performance Monitoring and Optimization :- Monitor system performance for Exchange environments.- Troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.Collaboration and Integration :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate messaging systems with other enterprise applications.Innovation and Continuous Improvement :- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the messaging and collaboration space.- Recommend improvements and optimizations for the messaging infrastructure.Desired Skills and Experience :- Proven experience as a Messaging Engineer with expertise in Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and Office 365 administration.- In-depth understanding of Active Directory services and their integration with messaging systems.- Experience planning and executing complex migration projects, including on-premises to cloud migrations.- Strong understanding of high availability and disaster recovery best practices for messaging platforms.- Ability to develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard messaging infrastructure.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Experience monitoring system performance and optimizing messaging environments.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- A passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the messaging and collaboration space.
