About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated Python Test Automation Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the exceptional quality of our web protection products through a comprehensive testing strategy. You will leverage your expertise in Python, Selenium, and other technologies to design, develop, and execute automated tests, contributing significantly to a streamlined and efficient development process.Responsibilities :Test Automation and Strategy :- Collaborate with the development team to create effective test automation strategies.- Implement automated tests covering various aspects of our web protection product suite, including functionality, scalability, performance, and security.- Utilize Python and other programming languages to write robust and maintainable test cases.Technical Skills and Tools :- Utilize Selenium WebDriver (Python) to automate tests for web applications and RESTful API services.- Leverage your knowledge of AWS, Git, and virtualization technologies to support the testing process.Test Execution and Analysis :- Execute test automation scripts as part of the Scrum development cycle.- Analyze test results and code coverage to identify areas for improvement and ensure comprehensive testing.- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize testing metrics and provide valuable insights to the team.Regression Testing :- Develop and maintain automated regression tests to prevent regressions and ensure product stability.- Proactively identify and report potential issues to the development team.Collaboration and Communication :- Work effectively within a cross-functional Agile team, collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.- Clearly communicate test findings and recommendations to facilitate effective problem-solving.About You :- Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation or regression testing, preferably in a cloud-hosted microservices environment.- Proven experience in a Software Test Automation role.- Strong proficiency in Python programming and Selenium WebDriver.- Ability to create robust automation frameworks using Python.- Experience with testing web applications and RESTful APIs using code-based testing approaches.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and a collaborative work style.- Experience with AWS, Git, and virtualization technologies is a plus.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.Desired Skills and Experience :- Experience with other testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest) and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
