Job Description :Position : Senior DevOps EngineerLocation : Mumbai Overview : We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with 3-4 + years of hands-on experience and expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying web applications built on Node.js from scratch, implementing horizontal and vertical scaling, monitoring tools, and managing databases (MongoDB), Redis, and Kafka on AWS. In addition, this role will involve load balancing and ensuring strong cybersecurity practices.Key Responsibilities :1. Web Application Deployment :- Design, configure, and deploy web applications developed in Node.js from the ground up, ensuring robust and efficient deployment pipelines.2. Scalability :- Implement horizontal and vertical scaling strategies to handle increased traffic and maintain application performance.3. Monitoring and Alerts :- Set up comprehensive monitoring tools and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues in the AWS infrastructure and applications.4. Database Management :- Deploy and manage MongoDB for data storage, ensuring data integrity, backups, and high availability.- Implement Redis and Kafka clusters for efficient data caching and real-time data streaming.5. Load Balancing : - Configure load balancing solutions to distribute traffic evenly across multiple instances, enhancing application reliability and performance.6. Cybersecurity :- Establish robust security measures to protect AWS resources and applications, including access control, encryption, and compliance with best practices and industry standards.7. Automation :- Automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance processes using tools like AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Auto Scaling, and Lambda functions.8. Collaboration and Documentation :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web applications with AWS infrastructure.- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices.Skills and Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3 - 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.Proficiency in Node.js, Docker, and container orchestration.Expertise in MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka administration.Experience with load balancing solutions (e.g., AWS Elastic Load Balancing).Strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience with security best practices.Scripting and automation skills using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.We are looking for a proactive Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about deploying and scaling web applications, ensuring high availability, and maintaining a secure AWS environment.
