Description:
Quantitative Documentation Specialist – Job Description Education and experience Advanced degree in quantitative, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related disciplines. Substantial experience in overcoming challenges inherent in tasks and projects. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written with a preference for writing experience. Project management and communication Good high-level understanding of software development life cycle. Ability to contribute significantly to project design, oversight, support, and leadership from inception to complete. Provides insight and initiatives on issues related to projects. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats. Product Documentation/Papers Update documentation for releases based on product features and functionalities. Acquire the domain/product knowledge to revise unclear/inconsistent input descriptions, supplementing them with relevant content as necessary with minimal external guidance. Evaluate inputs provided before incorporating them into the documentation. Identify gaps in information and undertake independent investigation or consult relevant sources to fill them. Be able to prioritize tasks and demonstrate a thorough understanding of content for efficient updates. Collaborate with team members to streamline documentation updates. Use automation to enhance consistency and accuracy of the content. Set up environments and procedures to generate documentation (e.g., CSS files, Journal generation, etc.). Support Requests Collaborate with Support to provide documentation expertise and product knowledge when needed. Identify trends in Support Cases and proactively prioritize doc improvements to avoid future Cases on broader scale known issues. Refer to the relevant resource if unable to address a Support query. Others Customize tools for process automation in collaboration with team members. Familiar with Python. Format documentation as per requirements, leveraging knowledge in relevant tools and products. Proficient in XML, HTML and LaTex, and familiar with the DITA methodology. Interested candidates can send emails to XXXX@numerix.com
