Description:
Principal Responsibilities :- Involved in the architectural design/detailed solution design, deployment, maintenance and service improvement of network management tools infrastructure, focus on Splunk Search head/indexer/deployment server and so on.- Provide support and consultancy to other Telecoms teams like Networking, Voice, Security, Tradefloors, etc, provide the consulting for the Splunk dashboard design, dashboard improvement, and development, as well as the integration to other network management tools.- Splunk expertise for design and development experience and Network Operation background will be preferred.- AWS expertise of deploying infrastructure on AWS cloud.Requirements :- University graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline- Required - Good communication skill in English.- Required - Expertise in Splunk and log analysis platform.- Required - Expertise in SPL.- Recent experience in building Splunk dashboard, report, etc.- Required Knowledge in network fundamentals (e.g.TCP/IP, LAN, Internet, Routing & Switching)- Required Knowledge in network management fundamentals(e.g.MIB/OID, SNMP, Netflow & Syslog)- Required Knowledge in Linux and Windows Servers platforms, Databases and queries.- Required Knowledge in AWS cloud.- Required one or more of below Programming skills : Perl, Python, Shell script, Java- Knowledge and experience in Automation / API : REST or SOAP- Knowledge in Automation techniques and technologies : e.g.Expect, Ansible- Capable to stitch together terraform, AWS CLI commands and BASH scripting to run on an EC2.- Experience with AWS CLI including S3, EC2, ASG, ELB, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.Preferred Good knowledge on one or more of different Network Management tools :- Fault management systems ( like NNMi product)- Configuration management systems ( like Network Automation product)- Performance management systems ( like Sevone/Telemetry)- Cloud related Network management systems.- Ability to write and develop Terraform modules for different Infrastructure setup, installation and configuration- DevOps experience with Terraform, GIT, AWS CLI, BASH.Preferred Certificates :- CCNA/ CCNP or similar networking certifications- Any Programming certification- Cloud certification ( GCP or AWS )- ITIL certificationGeneral skills :- Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills- Self-motivated, positive and flexible with ability to work independently- Willing to work in a global team and sometimes non-office hour (ref:hirist.tech)
