Job description for Oracle Fusion FI Functional Consultant:Keywords : Fusion Cloud, Solution Architect, General Ledger, Account Receivables, Account Payables, Primavera, Fixed Assets, Subledger Accounting.Required Skills : - Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Account Receivables, Account Payables, Fixed Assets, Subledger Accounting, Primavera, Tax (Fusion, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards Application)Job Description :- The Oracle finance functional consultant serves as a subject matter expert to the business in the area of Finance business processes, in particular, but not limited to accounting. - He will play a significant role in the discovery of New Solution(s) / Product(s) / design process design and finalisation. Led the Oracle Finance and Controlling team, implementation, and ongoing enhancements for the Oracle landscape related to the Finance and Controlling users.- He will work closely with Finance Business Management, and the Oracle support team and often facilitate efforts with the business in the definition of processes and enhancements needed for the business systems after adoption to industry best practices. - He is responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of Oracle Finance and the direct configuration that is needed. He will gather business requirement designs to provide the best solution.- Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. - Ability to travel as needed.Desired Profile- Provides subject matter expertise and thought leadership on Oracle's best practices for using and implementing Finance / Controlling business processes. - Leads workshops in gathering business requirements influences the adoption of standard Oracle processes and identifies and handles gaps while minimizing the development effort.- Will be part of the Business Applications management team and lead his team,- responsible for the Oracle resource plan management for existing and planned projects.- Coaches, mentors, and trains other Oracle Finance / Controlling functional consultants and supports their growth and learning.- Provides technical leadership in prioritizing, scoping, estimating, planning, and delivery of Oracle Finance / Controlling business processes solutions (new Fusion features, rollouts and enhancement projects).- Accountable for timely delivery, meeting agreed standards, multi-tasking different activities, closely collaborating, and mentoring his internal team and external consultants. - Effectively communicate the status of tasks, raising risks and dependencies appropriately.- Will be part of the Business Applications Integration team to represent his domain in order to analyze new projects/solutions/configuration changes to make sure the best solution is implemented and avoid any system/configuration conflict with existing running processes.- Conducts weekly/bi-weekly meetings with the Process Owner, Business Support team to present the overall progress, eg. Project status cards of ongoing projects under his domain, incident status, Request for Change, discuss and work on future roadmap, etc.- Performs feasibility studies and process design reviews and demonstrates profound knowledge of the assigned Oracle modules/solutions.- Supports the existing productive implementation of Oracle Finance / Controlling and resolves incidents based on pre-defined processes, identifies and ensures any change request follow the Request for Change processes and not through incidents.- Ensures documentation of all aspects of the Oracle Finance / Controlling implementation (e.g. business blueprint design, application configuration, functional specifications, test plans, business process procedures, user manuals, etc.).- Works directly with the business users in order to continuously enhance and improve the existing business cycles.- Ensures consistent, timely, and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders. Keep track of customer satisfaction. Provides input and assistance to other.- IT projects related to Our Business Applications if required. Works collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams with minimal supervision.- Raises and follow-up Finance / Controlling related service requests with Oracle.- Any Industry Standard Certifications will be a plus.- Creativity, Personal Drive, Influencing and Negotiating, Problem Solving.- Building Effective Relationships, Customer Focus, Effective Communication and Coaching.- Ready to travel as and when required by the project.Experience- Minimum Qualifications: Graduate degree in Information Systems, CharteredAccountant, Business Management, or related qualifications; plus Oracle Financials Cloud certifications.- Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience and functional subject matter expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance / Controlling business processes. At least 3-4 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Finance.- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion: should have a minimum of 3-4 end-to-end hands-on project implementation experience with Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud. Accounting Hub Cloud experience will be a plus.- Functional expertise in several Finance / Controlling areas including but not limited to: General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Enterprise Asset Management, Cash Management, Collection Management, Project financials, electronic bank statements, Treasury, Accounting Hub, Overhead costing, Production costing, Profit center accounting, accruals, budgeting, profitability analysis.- Good experience in Finance integration with HCM, Supply Chain (Procurement) and Projects- Advising and assisting business units in terms of related processes and focusing on the continuous improvement cycle of these processes by suggesting Industry best practices.- Experience in Primavera is an added advantage.
