Responsibilities :Leadership & Team Development :- Build motivated and high-performing engineering teams aligned with the company's vision and mission.- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where each team member feels valued and understands the impact of their work.- Define and implement a clear career development ladder for team members, providing regular coaching and mentoring to support their growth and success.- Develop successors by identifying high-potential individuals and nurturing their technical and leadership skills.Technical Expertise & Strategy :- Define the long-term technical strategy and architecture vision for device management, leveraging new technologies to deliver exceptional features for customers.- Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable technology solutions at a rapid pace.- Think critically and plan for the future, building reusable frameworks as building blocks and keeping them up-to-date with the latest advancements.- Collaborate effectively with other engineering managers and product managers to understand requirements, identify potential solutions, and clearly define project scope.Software Development & Management : - Maintain high software quality standards by establishing best coding practices and regularly updating software to address customer needs.- Manage the entire technology ecosystem, encompassing analysis, design, architecture, documentation, planning, integration, deployment, metrics and monitoring, logging frameworks, test automation, and analytics.- Ensure software security by implementing programs for active monitoring and adherence to defined standards.- Continuously update your own knowledge by studying cutting-edge development tools, programming techniques, and computing technologies.Collaboration & Communication :- Collaborate with team members to determine best coding practices and enhance the overall client experience.- Actively participate in internal initiatives and contribute to organization-wide technology advancements.- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.- Minimum of 13 years of software development experience.- 1-2 years of experience in an Engineering Manager role.- 8+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture patterns, reliability, and scaling) of complex systems.- 5+ years of experience in people management and development.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in programming languages like C#, VB.Net, .Net Core, React, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.- In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Angular 12, NGRX, C#, Azure App Services and Functions, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, ElasticSearch, and SQL Server.- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.- Integration expertise with third-party libraries and APIs.- Deep understanding of performance optimization, scalability principles, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.- Knowledge of modern architectural patterns that facilitate a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach and unit testing practices.Additional Skills (Nice to Have) :- Experience in optimizing applications and frameworks for maximum speed and scalability.- Working knowledge of Django, Flask, and React.JS.- Proficiency in relational database querying.- Strong understanding of cross-functional team dynamics and collaboration.- Ability to manage aggressive timelines and deliver optimal solutions for business objectives.
