Job Description :We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The Data Modeler will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models for our organization's data needs.Responsibilities :- Data Modeling : Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet the organization's requirements.- Database Design : Work closely with database administrators and developers to ensure the data models are implemented efficiently in the database systems.- Data Analysis : Analyze business requirements and data structures to design effective data models that support business processes.- Data Governance : Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by implementing data governance policies and standards.- Performance Tuning : Optimize data models for performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.- Documentation : Document data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams for reference and future enhancements.- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure data model requirements are met.- Data Quality : Implement data quality rules and standards to maintain high-quality data in the organization's databases.- Stay Updated : Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data modeling and database design.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.- 7-10 years of experience in data modeling and database design.- Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or similar tools.- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.- Experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts is a plus.- Familiarity with data modeling standards and methodologies.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Certification in data modeling or database design is a plus.
