Description:
Position Overview :- As an Elastic Search Lead, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of search solutions using Elastic Search.- You will leverage your expertise in Java/J2EE and Elastic Search to develop scalable, efficient, and reliable search applications.- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design search architectures, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.Key Responsibilities :- Design and implement search solutions using Elastic Search, leveraging your expertise in Java/J2EE and Elastic Search engine.- Develop search index building and refined searches across structured and semi-structured data sets.- Implement data parsing, enrichment, and processing techniques to optimize search performance and relevancy.- Perform search performance tuning, including cluster setup, sizing infrastructure, and installation and configuration of Elastic Search environments and applications.- Implement best indexing practices, including incremental delta updates and batch processing.- Design and implement search operations and operation design, ensuring efficient and reliable search functionality.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define search objectives, and design search architectures that meet business needs.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, and actively participate in knowledge sharing and skill development initiatives.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project teams, and management, both orally and in writing, to provide updates, escalate issues, and ensure alignment on search objectives and priorities.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 9-12 years of overall experience working with Java/J2EE, with 4-8 years of experience with Elastic Search engine.- Excellent knowledge of search design implementations and data design concepts.- Expertise in implementing search index building and refined searches across structured and semi-structured data sets.- Expertise in data analytics algorithms and handling large data structures.- Experience with search performance tuning, including search result tuning, relevancy ranking, keyword rules, and thesaurus.- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Good knowledge of Perl, Shell, and Batch scripts.- Knowledge of programming in Node.js, Perl, and Java is considered a plus.Desired Skills and Experience : Experience working with Elastic Search.
