API & Integration Testing EngineerLocation : BengaluruExp : 5 to 8 yearsSkills : 1. Candidate must have experience in conducting end-to-end /Integration Testing ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the data flows and write test scripts to validate different data workflows, data transformations, data structure and data mappings.2. Candidate should be able to Conduct thorough testing of backend systems, APIs, databases, and server-side logic to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.3. Candidate should be able to perform data validation activities, data reconciliation (comparing data from different sources or systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity.) and data profiling to ensure data accuracy and completeness.4. Candidate should be able to perform functional testing of APIs to ensure proper handling of requests, responses, error conditions, and security protocols.5. Candidate should be able to conduct integration testing to verify the seamless interaction between different components and services through APIs.6. Candidate should be able to utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate API testing processes, streamline repetitive tasks, and improve testing efficiency.7. Candidate should be able to develop and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.8. Candidate should be able to run queries and perform database testing/Validation & database schema validations. 9. Adhere to STLC standards.10. Excellent communication skills & a good team player.11. Experience with Test management tools (e.g. : JIRA), test automation (eg. : Selenium, QTP) and defect tracking tools (JIRA)Key Responsibilities : - As a member of Marketing Solutions Services engineering team, QA engineer (5-8years exp) will be responsible for Web Application, Backend, API, Integration, frontend, Functional, System, E2E, Automation and Data validation testing between different backend/frontend systems, applications including databases.- The candidate will be responsible for requirement review, test cases creation, creating test scripts (including automation) and test cases execution and will need to partner effectively with other teams in IT such as Business Analysts, Engineering, and Release Management. A team-player, collaboration-oriented, mindset is essential.Qualification & Experience : BTech/ MS in Computer Science or related fields or extensive software development experience (ref:hirist.tech)
