This is how we, at EDGE, use tech for good.Responsibilities :- Build, Lead and guide a team of DevOps Engineers- Design and develop platform to support our multiple products and applications.- Improve the development cycle with better tooling.- Take ownership over the CI/CD processes of the company.- Responsibility over the code/process quality of the DevOps team.- Understanding customer requirements and helping the engineering teams with DevOps Deliverables- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure- Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.- Managing stakeholders and external interfaces- Setting up tools and required infrastructure and securing it- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation- Troubleshooting and fixing critical production issues and incidents- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management- Incidence management and root cause analysis- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers- Mentoring and guiding the team members - Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customerQualification :- At least 2 years as a DevOps Team Lead. - At least 4 years as a DevOps Engineer.- At least 2 years' experience in web/rest application development using python stack- Deep understanding of Kubernetes.- Extensive experience with Azure/Digital Ocean.- Experience in automating and managing large-scale cloud infrastructure.- Experience with Open Source based solutions.- Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment best practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab etc).- Experience with Artifacts management.- Experience in configuring and automating monitoring tools - Knowledge and experience with securing infrastructure.- Experience with deploying and maintaining large scale distributed production workloads.- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure- Excellent understanding of the Python- Excellent troubleshooting skills- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies and cloud services- Hands-on experience in setup and maintenance of clusters such as RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, MongoDB etcWhy should you join us?We are concerned not only with the growth of the company, but each other's personal and professional growth, too.
