Role Overview :As a Development Manager at Herkey, you will lead our development team to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with our business goals. You will be responsible for driving product development, managing resources, and ensuring successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities :Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.Drive the development process using agile methodologies, ensuring efficient sprint planning, execution, and delivery.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations, to prioritize tasks and resolve dependencies.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development, incorporating relevant advancements into our processes and projects.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in software development, with at least years in a leadership or management role.Strong technical background in relevant technologies or programming languages.Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects.Deep understanding of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and practical experience implementing them in a development environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Strong leadership qualities, including decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
