Role : UI-UX DesignerLocation : MumbaiCompany Type : Product basedHybrid work cultureWe are looking for someone with minimum 3-5 years' experience to enhance user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and desirability provided in the interaction between the user and the Company website. This involves understanding users' needs, behaviors, and motivations, and then designing interfaces and experiences that meet those needs effectively and efficiently.Principal Duties &Responsibilities :- Liaise with analytics to identify potential usability and user interface design issues.- Use technology to investigate and pin-point user bottlenecks.- Develop solutions and concepts for testing.- Ad hoc creative support for wider business.- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high-fidelity mock-ups.- User Research : Conducting research to understand users' behaviors, needs, and pain points through methods such as surveys, interviews, and user testing.- Information Architecture : Organizing and structuring content and functionality in a way that is intuitive and easy for users to navigate.- Wireframing and Prototyping : Creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize and iterate on design concepts, allowing for quick feedback and refinement.- Interaction Design : Designing interactive elements and micro-interactions to guide users through the product and make the experience seamless and engaging.- Visual Design : Creating visually appealing interfaces that align with the brand identity while also considering factors like colour theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.- Usability Testing : Conducting usability tests to evaluate how well users can interact with the product and identifying areas for improvement.- Collaboration : Working closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to ensure that the final product meets both user needs and business goals.- Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design.- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimisation efforts.- Know how to use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, or equivalent.- Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills- To work to the company management systems at all times.- Any other duties the company deem appropriate in the change of business circumstances.Preferred Education& Experience :- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role with strong Agile experience.- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work.- Experience with any of the following Figma, Invision, Axure, CSS, HTML, Hotjar or any customer insight tools.- Able to demonstrate a passion for User Experience, Design and Technology.- Strong UX research, wireframing and prototypingSkills :- Strong experience and skilled in interaction design, visual communication, and information architecture.- Flexibility and enthusiasm to further their own skill set and careers with a positive can-do attitude and keen eye for detail.- Experience with mobile and tablet in an ecommerce background is desirable.- An entrepreneurial spirit with the confidence to both own and guide and influence both clients and colleagues through the design process.- Experience in translating client requirements and complex user journeys into clearly laid out user stories and workflows.Work Environment :- Collaborates closely with other members of the companies.
