Job Description :Role : Senior /Lead Software Engineer - OMC Design & Development (Python Backend) Key Qualifications : Masters/bachelor's degree (4+ years) in Computer Science or related field from Tier-1 institutionsMandatory Technical Skills :Proficiency in developing optimized code with excellent programming skills in PythonIn depth knowledge & hands-on cloud native application development experience inCloud Native Architecture & Microservice ArchitectureRelated stacks (RSYSLOG, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Prometheus, Flask, Gunicorn, NGINX, service registry, VMs, etc.)Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)Linux based Operating Systems and Rest APIsWell versed with virtualization concepts including docker, Kubernetes, virtual machine, Linux Containers & hypervisorsAbility to develop feature/module through concept, design, adherence to architecture guidelinesStrong experience in writing & automation of Unit & functional test cases in Python using Robot framework & integration in CI CD environment using JenkinsExperienced in Triaging faults from test teams / customer sites & provide resolutionExperienced in requirements analysis, working with architecture teams to author software design & test strategy documentationStrong analytical & programming skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to efficiently collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.Proficient in Agile methodologies, Git, Gitlab, Gerrit and use of JIRA for efficient task management (ref:hirist.tech)
