Linux Server Administration :- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) on servers.- Manage server resources, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.2. Apache Tomcat Administration :- Install, configure, and maintain Apache Tomcat servers.- Create, configure virtual host in Apache web server.- Deploy, update, and troubleshoot Java-based web applications on Tomcat.- Monitor Tomcat logs and performance metrics for optimal application health.3. Web Application Deployment :- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and update web applications.- Ensure proper configuration and integration of applications with Apache Tomcat.4. Security Management :- Implement and maintain security measures for both Linux servers and Apache Tomcat applications.- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct regular security audits.5. Performance Optimization :- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both Linux servers and Tomcat applications.- Fine-tune configurations for optimal resource utilization.6. Scripting and Automation :- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks.- Implement configuration management tools for efficient system and application management.7. Monitoring and Alerts :- Set up monitoring tools to track the health and performance of Linux servers and Tomcat applications.- Configure alerts for critical events and respond promptly to incidents.8. Collaboration and Documentation :- Work closely with development and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices.Qualification : - BE , B - Tech , MCA- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator and Apache Tomcat Administrator.- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master'sRelevant Knowledge : Linux systems , server administration , and Apache Tomcat (ref:hirist.tech)
