Summary :We are looking for an Android Developer to join our product team. The incumbent would be responsible for designing and coding the base application, fixing bugs, maintaining the quality of the application and its code, and constantly implementing application updates.Your Roles and Responsibilities :- Understand the 3rd party integration- Design a modular and maintainable App structure with best-known design pattern- Implement high-quality Java / Kotlin code and UI layouts- Regular code reviews. Refactor the code if required- Discover latest technology trends, frameworks, design patterns to keep the App code up to the mark- Train and get work done in correct manner from the junior developer(s)- Share ideas and actively participate in discussions related to the productYou should have :- 1 - 3 years of working experience in native android development with Java and Kotlin- Strong OOPS concepts and programming skills in Java and Kotlin- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON- Good understanding of Jetpack Components such as View Model, Live Data, DataBinding, Room etc.- Good understanding of Dagger, Okhttp, Retrofit, Glide, Volley, Picasso, Mockito or equivalent libraries in android- Good understanding of design architecture such as MVC, MVP, MVVM- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines- Good understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications with FCM- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git- Ability to self-manage and work autonomously in a collaborative environment and good team player- At Least 1 project has to be developed from scratch independently (ref:hirist.tech)
